Join Angie from the Traveling Yarn Yogi for a Beginner Knitting Class Series!
The first class in the series will focus on learning the knit and the purl stitch. Discussing the fabric that these 2 stitches make - garter vs. stockinette. We will explore what tension in your work means and how to get comfortable with what you are doing. Homework will be provided for you to bring back to second class in the series.
Homework - continue to knit on your sample, don’t stop or start over, continue on so that we can review and discuss at next class. Lots can be learned from this type of knitting. Commit to at least 30 min a day on your sample. In addition, worksheet to learn knitting terminology.
The second class in the series we will come back together and review your sample knitting that has been done. Then…
