🧵Community Service Project : Mercy Mats🧵
Join us at Stitched for a community service project - creating Mercy Mats for the homeless! Mercy Mats are sleeping mats made from plastic grocery bags. This also helps our environment by repurposing plastic bags. There are several steps in making the mats - so something for everyone who comes out to volunteer - from flattening bags to crocheting.
🧵 Please bring plastic grocery bags (we are also collecting yarn for blankets for veterans)
