American Mahjong or Mahj as many call it is a 4 player game played with tiles, racks, and a card. Players are given tiles and then after a series of passing them, players take turns choosing and discarding tiles while trying to match a hand on the card. The first player to match a hand wins. In this 2 part class, you will learn the tiles, rules, set up for play, and how to play American Mahjong. Grab some friends or join the class on your own and make new connections playing this fun game.
This is a 2 part class on the following dates : Sunday, August 3rd from 2-4pm and Wednesday, August 6th from 7-9pm.
No experience necessary.
