Intro to Knitting
With just two sticks and two stitches a whole world of knitted fabrics awaits. Learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off and begin to explore a multitude stitch patterns and project possibilities.
Students will need to purchase the following supplies before class {items can be purchased at Michaels}:
One set US 8 straight knitting needles no longer than 10” and preferably made of wood or bamboo.
1 skein of worsted weight wool, such as Paton’s Classic Wool, in a solid, light color.
